At The Whiskey Lab, our mission is to make exceptional, independently bottled Scotch accessible and enjoyable. To achieve this, we’re rolling out several new features and experiences in the coming year:

An Exclusive Preview: Luxury 5-Day Whisky & Highlands Escape
This April, we’re hosting an intimate journey for up to 12 guests (6 rooms) through Scotland’s storied whisky landscapes. It’s more than a trip—it’s an immersion into the flavors, craftsmanship, and natural beauty that define Scotch whisky culture. From Edinburgh’s cobblestone streets and Michelin-star dining at Glenturret to legendary Speyside distilleries and the majestic Highlands, every moment is designed to deepen your appreciation for the spirit we love.
Day 1: Edinburgh – History & Whisky Heritage
Arrive in Scotland’s captivating capital, settle into your luxury accommodations, and explore iconic landmarks like Edinburgh Castle and the Royal Mile. Enjoy a guided tour by local experts who bring the city’s past to life. In the evening, relish a private tasting at a renowned whisky bar, possibly share a dram with the legendary Charlie MacLean, and savor gourmet dining at one of Edinburgh’s top restaurants.
Day 2: Highlands – Glenturret & Boutique Retreats
Head north to Glenturret, Scotland’s oldest working distillery, for a guided tour and a Michelin-star lunch. Indulge in the sweet creations of The Highland Chocolatier, visit scenic gems like Soldier’s Leap, and unwind at a luxurious country house near the Cairngorms. End the day with a dram by a roaring fire, soaking in Highland serenity.
Day 3: Speyside – The Heart of Whisky Country
Venture into Speyside, home to some of the world’s most esteemed distilleries. Meet whisky legends at The GlenAllachie (subject to availability), witness master coopers at work at the Speyside Cooperage, and sample exceptional malts at icons like Glenfiddich or Glenlivet. Enjoy traditional hospitality at Muckrach Country House or opt for a private castle stay if you wish, drifting off to sleep with the lingering notes of a perfect dram.
Day 4: Loch Ness & Glencoe – Scenic Splendor
Discover the mystery of Loch Ness and explore the ruins of Urquhart Castle. Marvel at the Glenfinnan Viaduct before driving through the dramatic landscapes of Glencoe. Settle into Glencoe House Hotel, where fine dining, a crackling fire, and a starry Highland sky complete your day in picture-perfect style.
Day 5: Lowlands – Rosebank & Farewell
Conclude your journey at Rosebank Distillery in the Lowlands, known for its delicate, triple-distilled whiskies. A private lunch and final tastings prepare you for the short return to Edinburgh. Celebrate your last night with dinner at Angels with Bagpipes and perhaps a nightcap at a favorite local pub. Depart the next day, inspired and enriched by Scotland’s liquid history and natural wonders.
